A guide to using the Microsoft Company Portal App

Microsoft Company Portal is a self service application Handsfree IT pre-install on our customers that utilise mobile device management.


Company Portal allows you to take actions such as view compliance status, install and re-install applications Handsfree IT have published for you.

1. How to install an application on company portal


Step 1: Launch the company portal Application


The example application we have used for the purposes of this guide is "Cisco VPN" - depending on the company you work for you will have an application catalogue specific to your company curated.


Click the start button > type "Company Portal" > click on the "Company Portal" application



Step 2: Select the application you want to install


Click "Apps" on the left hand navigation and click on the application you want to install.




Step 3: Install the application


Click "Install" on the application you want to install


The install will keep you informed of the install status as the install progresses as well as notifications.





Once the install has completed you will be notified and the application should show "Installed"




 You're done! You should now be able to launch the application you've installed!
